Will Jared Loughner get the Death Penalty?

Jared may be mentally ill, he may have a diminished capacity; in either case, did he take too seriously thoughts the rest of us have from time to time? I think many Americans are really frustrated by the fact that the American dream seems to be beyond our grasps. That we describe one thing with our words, but the reality we live, in terms of lost homes, lost economic opportunity, clashes with that.
